Katy Perry Tour Tickets – Katy Heads Back to the Studio
Katy Perry tickets are still hot sellers as the charming guitarist finishes up her final round of scheduled dates for the California Dreams Tour. Whether she'll add more or not is up for speculation, but as it is at the time of writing, Katy Perry is traveling through the U.K. and Scotland for the end of October, then returning to the U.S. in November for a performance at the XL Center of Hartford, CT. The following night, she plays Madison Square Garden in New York before cutting across the country for stops in venues like Mandalay Bay Resort Event Center in Las Vegas and STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.
That's brewing plenty of excitement among her fans at the moment, but the biggest news has been that Perry has been returning to the studio as of late. MTV News recently spoke with producer Tricky Stewart, who said that Perry had been "freshening up" a few tracks that were leftover from her days recording Teenage Dream. "Katy and I went into [the studio] just to address some issues with records that we had done in the past that didn't end up going on Teenage Dream," he was quoted as saying. "So we are in the process of just listening and freshening up things and getting ready for something special she has going on."
There are no details yet on just what it was that she was working on that's so special, but we're hopeful that details will leak out soon. Stewart was mum on the subject, though he did add: "I can tell you that Katy likes the studio again; that's always a good thing."

Katy Perry nominated for three American Music Awards: Katy Perry recently made some headlines when it was reported that she would be nominated for three different American Music Awards, putting her toward the top of the ranks of artists in terms of nominations. The Los Angeles Times reported that Perry will be nominated for Artist of the Year, which is a pretty big award, obviously, and one that fans will certainly be cheering her on to win.
Katy Perry covers Adele's "Someone Like You": Consider it a major nod of respect. Perry recently performed in Sheffield, U.K., at the Motorpoint Arena. Much to the surprise of her fans, she took on a song that has made British pop singer Adele quite famous - "Someone Like You." Katy gave the track a rousing rendition that earned her plenty of applause, said a recent article in the NME.
Katy Perry releases new fragrance, Meow: Keeping with the cat theme, Katy Perry recently announced the name of her newest fragrance. It's called Meow, appropriately enough, as the last one was called Purr. Perry took to Twitter to offer a morsel of information about it, noting that the scent is "very sweet & inspired by that magical place, CANDYFORNIA!"
